It operates an award winning mail order service with over 11,000 customers and trades on the internet handling online ordering.
The Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) aimed to satisfy the company's growth targets of 30% per annum. In particular, the company wanted to increase its market exploitation of olives; become proactive in anticipating customer's needs and achieve greater market penetration and brand awareness through Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC).

The project focused on the design and implementation of a bespoke IT based Customer Relationship Management system which allowed Olives Et Al Ltd to tailor its current product offering more accurately to the independent fine food market. A change management programme was also implemented to prepare the company and its team for the new IT system and to deal with manual and the implementation of integrated marketing communications.
- During the first year of the partnership the company increased its turnover by 30% on the previous year
- Enhanced brand strategy
- Implementation of robust CRM system
- Successful change management programme in place
"The KTP has definitely had a valuable and positive impact on Olives Et Al"
