Bio-Energy Flagship Project

28 January 2008

This flagship project was a study to conduct in-depth case studies of existing Biomass projects in the South West region.

It was a collaborative effort between the Royal Agricultural College, Bournemouth University, the University of Plymouth and Knowledge West.

Accorindg to Regen-SW there are some 30 South West biomass focused businesses working on projects from anaerobic digestion through to woodfuel (including the UK's two largest woodfuel technology installers). It is recognised that the ability to learn from actual users would be invaluable and would help to progress the uptake of biomass in the region.
